10 DAYS PROGRAM : MINIMUM LEVEL OF LEARNING ( CLASS X - MATHS )

INTRODUCTION

The minimum level of learning (MLL) is a set of learning outcomes that all children should be able to achieve at a particular stage of their education. MLLs are used to evaluate the quality of a school's curriculum and to improve the quality of education.

Here are some features of MLLs:
  • They should be relevant and functional to the child
  • They should be stated in a way that teachers can understand and evaluate
  • They should be mastered by all children.

The MLL concept was introduced in India in 1986 as part of the National Policy on Education (NPE). The MLLs for primary school were laid down for the subjects of language, mathematics, and environmental studies for grades I to V. The MLL emphasized that all children should have access to quality education, regardless of their caste, color, or creed.

MLLs can be stated in a variety of ways, as expected learning outcomes defined as observable terminal behaviors. As a taxonomic analysis of learning objectives such as knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and so on. As learning competencies expected to be mastered by every child by the end of a particular class or stage of education
